Part number V75249 is an AS568-249 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.859 in (123.42 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.137 in (130.48 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists many acids, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).

Typical settings include chemical processing, aerospace, and automotive fuel systems.
