Ordered as V1X2.5, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 4.5 mm (0.18 in). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
