The V3.5X25 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 25 mm (0.984 in), a cross section of 3.5 mm (0.138 in), and an outside diameter of 32 mm (1.26 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, aggressive chemicals, and aromatic hydrocarbons. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
