The VB75258 is an AS568-258 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.984 in (151.99 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.262 in (159.05 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and aggressive chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
