This o-ring is supplied in AS568-260 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 6.484 in (164.69 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.762 in (171.75 mm), catalogued under part number V75260. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters.
