The VB75268 is an AS568-268 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 8.484 in (215.49 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.762 in (222.55 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The compound resists many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to hot water and steam or amines will shorten service life.
