The V2.5X27 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 27 mm (1.063 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 32 mm (1.26 in). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
