The V5X280 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 280 mm (11.024 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 290 mm (11.42 in). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.
