The V75282 is an AS568-282 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 15.955 in (405.26 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.233 in (412.32 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) delivers very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters call for a different compound.
