This o-ring is supplied in black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 29.5 mm (1.161 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 35.5 mm (1.4 in), catalogued under part number V3X29.5. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
