V5X295 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 295 mm (11.614 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 305 mm (12.01 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.
