V3.5X29.7 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 29.7 mm (1.169 in), a cross section of 3.5 mm (0.138 in), and an outside diameter of 36.7 mm (1.44 in). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware. Supplementary detail from the product record: Metric O-RING, JIS P30.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The compound resists many acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or amines.
