The V1X3 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3 mm (0.118 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 5 mm (0.2 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

It resists chlorinated solvents, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
