The VB75M1X3 is a brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3 mm (0.118 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 5 mm (0.2 in). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or ketones and esters will shorten service life.
