This o-ring is supplied in black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 3 mm (0.118 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 6 mm (0.24 in), catalogued under part number V1.5X3. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
