Ordered as V6X300, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 300 mm (11.811 in), a cross section of 6 mm (0.236 in), and an outside diameter of 312 mm (12.28 in). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam are present.
