Ordered as V75312, this is an AS568-312 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.6 in (15.24 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.02 in (25.91 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, oil and gas, and aerospace.
