-316 BLACK FKM 75D O-RING

APG stocks the V75316, an AS568-316 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.85 in (21.59 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.27 in (32.26 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is valued for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

Typical settings include semiconductor equipment, chemical processing, and oil and gas.

Stocked as V75316 and sold individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 7/8 inch. Application requirements vary, so validate compatibility with your process conditions prior to installation.
