-317 BROWN FKM 75D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-317 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A with an inside diameter of 0.912 in (23.16 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.332 in (33.83 mm), catalogued under part number VB75317. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or ketones and esters are present.

Typical settings include chemical processing, automotive fuel systems, and high-temperature process equipment.
