This o-ring is supplied in black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 35 mm (1.378 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 38 mm (1.5 in), catalogued under part number V1.5X35. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
