Ordered as VB75M2.5X35, this is a brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 35 mm (1.378 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 40 mm (1.57 in). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The compound resists aggressive chemicals, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, chemical processing, and oil and gas.
