Ordered as V1.5X37, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 37 mm (1.457 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 40 mm (1.57 in). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or ketones and esters.
