Ordered as V6X37, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 37 mm (1.457 in), a cross section of 6 mm (0.236 in), and an outside diameter of 49 mm (1.93 in). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters.
