1.5MM CS X 40MM ID BLACK FKM 75D

The V1.5X40 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 40 mm (1.575 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 43 mm (1.69 in). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
