V3X40 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 40 mm (1.575 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 46 mm (1.81 in). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature.
