5MM CS X 40MM ID BLACK FKM 75D

The V5X40 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 40 mm (1.575 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 50 mm (1.97 in). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is known for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).

It sees regular use in automotive fuel systems, semiconductor equipment, and chemical processing.
