Ordered as V2.5X41, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 41 mm (1.614 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 46 mm (1.81 in). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. This material stands up to aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.
