Ordered as V3.5X41, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 41 mm (1.614 in), a cross section of 3.5 mm (0.138 in), and an outside diameter of 48 mm (1.89 in). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or ketones and esters call for a different compound.
