This o-ring is supplied in AS568-439 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 6.475 in (164.47 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.025 in (178.44 mm), catalogued under part number V75439. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
