The V2.5X45 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 45 mm (1.772 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 50 mm (1.97 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material holds up against many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
