The V1.5X46 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 46 mm (1.811 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 49 mm (1.93 in). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) delivers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
