Part number V4X46 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 46 mm (1.811 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 54 mm (2.13 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, automotive fuel systems, and semiconductor equipment.
