This o-ring is supplied in AS568-468 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 19.455 in (494.16 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 20.005 in (508.13 mm), catalogued under part number VB75468. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters are present.
