Viton® (FKM) is known for outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Expect good resistance to many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, oil and gas, and automotive fuel systems.
