The V3X50.5 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 50.5 mm (1.988 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 56.5 mm (2.22 in). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines are present.

It sees regular use in automotive fuel systems, semiconductor equipment, and chemical processing.
