This o-ring is supplied in black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 52 mm (2.047 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 55 mm (2.17 in), catalogued under part number V1.5X52. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or hot water and steam.
