V2.4X54.6 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 54.6 mm (2.15 in), a cross section of 2.4 mm (0.094 in), and an outside diameter of 59.4 mm (2.34 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, aggressive chemicals, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and outstanding high-temperature capability. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
