V1.5X56 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 56 mm (2.205 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 59 mm (2.32 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
