Ordered as V1.5X57, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 57 mm (2.244 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 60 mm (2.36 in). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is known for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where amines or ketones and esters are present.
