Ordered as V1.5X58, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 58 mm (2.283 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 61 mm (2.4 in). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
