The V2.5X6 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6 mm (0.236 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 11 mm (0.43 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters.
