1.78MM CS X 6.35MM ID BLACK FKM 75D

The V1.78X6.35 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 6.35 mm (0.25 in), a cross section of 1.78 mm (0.07 in), and an outside diameter of 9.91 mm (0.39 in). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or ketones and esters will shorten service life.

Typical settings include oil and gas, high-temperature process equipment, and chemical processing.
