Ordered as V2.5X67, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 67 mm (2.638 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 72 mm (2.83 in). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is known for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
