The V1.5X68 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 68 mm (2.677 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 71 mm (2.8 in). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The compound resists aggressive chemicals, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) offers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving amines or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across automotive fuel systems, high-temperature process equipment, and semiconductor equipment.
