Product Specification

-
Ordered as V4X68, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 68 mm (2.677 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 76 mm (2.99 in). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

Common environments for this compound include automotive fuel systems, chemical processing, and oil and gas.

V4X68 ships individually. Unit weight is approximately 5.1159 g. Application requirements vary, so validate compatibility with your process conditions prior to installation. APG supports cross-referencing from drawings, samples and competitor numbers when a listed size is not an exact fit.
