Ordered as V2X7, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7 mm (0.276 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 11 mm (0.43 in). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and chlorinated solvents. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or hot water and steam.
