The V3.5X70 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 70 mm (2.756 in), a cross section of 3.5 mm (0.138 in), and an outside diameter of 77 mm (3.03 in). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters.

Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, oil and gas, and aerospace.
