Part number V1.6X7.1 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.1 mm (0.28 in), a cross section of 1.6 mm (0.063 in), and an outside diameter of 10.3 mm (0.41 in). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or hot water and steam.
