V1.5X7.5 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 7.5 mm (0.295 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 10.5 mm (0.41 in). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load. The catalog record notes: Metric O-RING, JIS S8.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or amines.

It sees regular use in automotive fuel systems, high-temperature process equipment, and chemical processing.
