This o-ring is supplied in black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A with an inside diameter of 75 mm (2.953 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 79 mm (3.11 in), catalogued under part number V2X75. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or amines are present.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, aerospace, and chemical processing.
